CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Washing

  • Our rugs must not be machine washed.
  • Never soak the rug in large amounts of water. Use a damp cloth instead.

Stains

  • Clean with a solution of soapy water or baking soda.
  • For stains on white wool, use sodium percarbonate to restore brightness.
  • Let the solution sit for 10 to 30 minutes depending on the stain’s intensity.
  • Blot immediately, without rubbing.

Regular Care

  • Vacuum regularly, avoiding the beater brush mode.
  • New rugs naturally shed some fibers; this is normal.
  • Do not brush the rug.
  • If a thread comes loose, do not pull it; cut it carefully with scissors.

Precautions

  • Do not place the rug on damp or wet surfaces.
  • These rugs are not designed to be used as doormats.

    What is the lifespan of a rug?

    Our tufted rugs generally last 15 to 20 years when properly cared for and maintained.

    How should I take care of my rug?

    Vacuum regularly: At least once a week, or every 2–3 days if you have pets.


    Trim loose threads: If you notice any threads sticking out, never pull them out! Simply trim them carefully with small scissors.


    Clean stains properly: Never wash your tufted rug in a washing machine this could dissolve the glue that holds the fibers together.

    Instead, gently blot stains with a clean, damp cloth.

    For tougher or set-in stains, use a mixture of white vinegar and baking soda to lift them safely.
